5 Reasons to Visit Cabo San Lucas on Your Next Vacation

Because I live on the East Coast, my typical warm-weather vacation is on the East Coast or the Caribbean. However, I recently visited Cabo San Lucas, and it’s now one of my favorite places. There’s so much to enjoy there – here are five reasons to visit Cabo San Lucas.

My trip was complimentary as a guest of the Hacienda Encantada resort. All opinions are my own.

I saw the iconic Cabo sunset on my first evening there, but that didn’t stop me from wanting to see it every other day of my trip. With clear, blue skies and beautiful vistas, the sunsets in Cabo are especially beautiful.

Gorgeous Weather

As someone who lives where the weather isn’t always perfect, it’s nice to visit a place that is always warm. Cabo San Lucas offers nice warm temps, with average highs ranging from high 70s to low 90s through the year. It also doesn’t get much rain, so you are likely to have gorgeous weather during your trip.

Fantastic Resorts

While the destination is always important, I like to make sure there are great places to stay when I choose a family vacation destination. Cabo is filled with beautiful resorts, including the Hacienda Encantada, where I stayed for my trip. This optional all-inclusive resort offers fantastic food, luxurious accommodations, fun amenities and activities, and beautiful views.

The Arch of Cabo

The Land’s End area of Cabo, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, is a must-visit. The highlight is the famous Cabo Arch, the rock formation in the water. This area includes Lovers Beach, on the relaxing Sea of Cortez, and Divorce Beach, on the more volatile Pacific Ocean side, and is accessible by boat.

The Lively Marina

While I enjoyed spending time at my resort, it was also nice to visit the Marina area. This area is filled with shops and restaurants and is also where you’ll go if you plan a boat excursion in Cabo.
