6 Resorts for a Fun Family Vacation

When planning a family vacation, you may look for a resort offering restaurants, amenities, activities, and more. In some cases, the resort may be the destination in itself, with the location being secondary. Here are six fun resorts for a fun family vacation.

Hacienda Encantada, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Hacienda Encantada is a clifftop resort located in Cabo San Lucas. It offers both room-only and all-inclusive packages. It has three pools, delicious food, spacious rooms, and amazing views. Read all about my stay at this resort here.

Beaches Resort, Turks and Caicos

Beaches Turks and Caicos is one of my favorite resorts. This all-inclusive resort in Providenciales offers beaches, a water park, pools, kids’ clubs, loads of restaurants, and much more. Once you are on the property, you won’t want to leave. Read our review of the resort here.

Ocean Edge Resort, Brewster, Cape Cod

Ocean Edge Resort, located on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, has so many amenities and activities for families. While Cape Cod is primarily a summer destination, Ocean Edge is open year-round, offering special events during school vacations. JW Marriott Grande Lakes, Orlando, Florida

One of my favorite resorts in Florida, the JW Marriott Grande Lakes, is co-located with the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes. It’s a luxurious resort offering fantastic restaurants, golf, nature activities, a large pool area (complete with waterslides), and much more. Read our review here.

Gaylord Opryland, Nashville, Tennessee

The Gaylord Opryland is adjacent to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. It almost feels like a city, with gardens, rivers, atriums, and so much more under the roof. It offers a waterpark, restaurants, and many fantastic holiday activities, including ICE! In the past, we visited over Thanksgiving, and it was so much fun to enjoy the seasonal decor and activities. Migis Lodge, Sebago Lake, Maine

Migis Lodge, a seasonal resort located right on Sebago Lake in Maine, is a quintessential family resort. It offers lake water sports, like kayaking, a kids’ club, family BBQs and clam bakes, and much more. It’s rustic and luxurious all at once. Read our review here.
