Virgin Voyages Adult Only Cruise Line Differences

Virgin Voyages, a new cruise line from Richard Branson, offers some differences from other cruise lines. They currently offer four ships: The Scarlett Lady, the Resilient Lady, the Brilliant Lady, and the Valient Lady. You can see the differences here.

No Buffets or Main Dining Room

Virgin Voyages doesn’t have a main dining room or a big buffet. Instead, they offer (included) specialty restaurants and a food hall with a large variety of options.

Hammocks on Balcony Staterooms

Most of the balcony staterooms offer a bright red hammock hanging on the balcony. It’s one of my favorite places to enjoy time on the ship.

Virgin Voyages offers Squid Ink – a tattoo studio at sea, staffed by guest artists. You can find a schedule of the visiting tattoo artists on the Squid Ink Instagram account.

Gratuities and Basic Internet are Included

Unlike other cruise lines, Virgin Voyages includes gratuities and basic internet with the cruise fare. If you need a stronger/faster Internet connection, a paid add-on is available.

Adults Only

Virgin Voyages is an adult-only cruise line. Only those over the age of 18 are allowed, so there are no little kids running around, no kids’ clubs, and no kids’ menus.
