Condos at the Embassy Suites Orlando Sunset Walk: Guide

Orlando is one of the world’s most popular family vacation destinations, with world-class theme parks and other fun family attractions. The greater Orlando area offers many different accommodation types, so you’ll need to choose the best option for your family.

If you are looking for condo accommodations with kitchens and multiple rooms for the whole family but don’t want to give up resort amenities, a fantastic new option is the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk. This new hotel, part of Rentyl Resorts, is a condo-style hotel, offering Embassy Suites services and amenities with the comfort of condo vacationing.

Disclosure: My trip to the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk was complimentary for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Condo Accommodations at the Embassy Suites Orlando Sunset Walk

The Embassy Suites Orlando by Hilton Sunset Walk offers condo-style accommodations. Two buildings are currently open, and three more are on the way in the upcoming year. Guests have the choice of studios, one-bedroom units, or two-bedroom units.

I had a two-bedroom unit during my weekend stay, and I think it would be a fantastic option for a family vacation. The unit includes a room with one king-size bed, a room with two queen beds, two full bathrooms, a kitchen (with refrigerator, cooktop, oven, and Keurig coffee maker), a living room (with sofa bed), and a porch overlooking the pool area.

The one-bedroom and studio condo units are smaller, and the studios do not have a full kitchen. While none of these units have in-unit laundry, the building has laundry rooms for guest use.

I think the two-bedroom unit would be a convenient option for a family. There’s plenty of space for everyone, and the two bathrooms are especially helpful when getting ready in the morning. To save money on your vacation, you could prepare some meals in your room.

Amenities at the Embassy Suites Orlando Sunset Walk

In addition to the condo accommodations, the Embassy Suites Sunset Walk offers some fantastic family amenities – many of which will be familiar to anyone who has stayed at an Embassy Suites in the past.

The Oasis Beach Club pool area is one of my favorite aspects of the resort. This large area includes a zero-entry outdoor pool, a sandy area, and a splash pad. In addition, guests can rent a cabana at the pool daily. This would be a great option if you plan to spend much of your day at the Oasis Beach Club and want some shade.

When you arrive at the pool, you’ll stop at the attendant to give your room number and sign in. You’ll be provided a wristband showing you are staying at the resort. During my February stay, the pool closed at 6 p.m., but guests were permitted to visit the adjacent Margaritaville Resort pool after hours.

The Mango Moon Restaurant and Bar is within the Oasis Beach Club. This pool bar serves light bites and drinks.

Complimentary Breakfast

Like other Embassy Suites, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk offers a complimentary breakfast at CitruSocial in the lobby. This breakfast includes yogurt, pastries, fruit, coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, and made-to-order omelets. The breakfast opens at 6 am during the week and 7 am on weekends, so you’ll have plenty of time to eat before starting your day in Orlando.

Evening Reception

The hotel also offers a daily cocktail reception at CitruSocial. The social includes a complimentary drink and light snacks.

CitruSocial also serves dinner each night. While there are plenty of food options nearby, including at Sunset Walk, it’s also nice to have a choice right in the lobby of your hotel, especially after a long day.

Shuttle Service

Are you headed to the Disney theme parks? The resort offers a complimentary shuttle to Walt Disney World. The front desk has a QR code that you can use to schedule a ride.

In addition, the resort offers a shuttle that takes guests to the Promenade at Sunset Walk if you don’t want to walk.

Island H2O Water Park

From March 7 through October 26, guests staying at the Embassy Suites Orlando Sunset Walk can take advantage of the Waterpark Package. This package includes admission to the new Island H2O Water Park, conveniently located in Sunset Walk.

The Island H2O Water Park includes many waterslides (with varying thrill levels), a lazy river, a wave pool, and much more. It’s open seasonally.

Fitness Center

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Sunset Walk offers a 24/7 fitness center. While there isn’t a spa on site, the adjacent Margaritaville Resort Orlando Hotel offers a full-service spa.
