Although I love having fun on vacations, I also like to incorporate some sort of educational into our trips. Whether it's visiting ruins or going to a museum, there are so many great types of educational family travel.
We've done a variety of educational things on our family vacations. Sometimes, we visit a Presidential home, like Hermitage in Nashville or Mount Vernon in Virginia. Or, we'll include a visit to a museum or aquarium, like the Museum of Science in Boston or the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Florida.
Some hotels offer educational programs, like animal education programs, or programs within kids' clubs.
